PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress dripping of an ink from an ink supply port of an ink cartridge, when the ink cartridge is removed from a printer.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink cartridge (40) characterized in that, when a socket part 50 of the ink cartridge (40) is removed from a joint part 30 of a printer (10), an inside plug 51 which is movable in a front-back direction in a socket body 51 of the socket part 50, is provided with an ink holding part 53a1 in which an insertion shaft 31f formed on a joint body 31 of the joint part 30 is inserted, and when the insertion shaft 31f inserted in the ink holding part 53a1 is pulled out, an ink IK which is present in the vicinity of an ink supply port 51e of the socket body 51, is held in the ink holding part 53a1. |
