PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AV apparatus which can output a video signal and an audio signal, while correcting the delay accurately and surely, and to provide its control method.SOLUTION: An AV apparatus includes a first signal output section for outputting a video signal and a first audio signal corresponding to the video signal to a display device, a first signal receiving section for receiving the feedback signal of the first audio signal from the display device, a second signal output section for outputting a second audio signal corresponding to the video signal, and a control section for determining the processing delay time of the display device by comparing the first audio signal with the feedback signal, and controlling the second audio signal to be outputted with a delay behind the video signal, on the basis of the processing delay time thus determined. |
