PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent element with high insulation property between elements, good sealing property, fine patterning, and uniform luminous property. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element comprises a luminous element 17 having an organic layer 13 including a luminous layer interposed between a lower electrode 12 formed on a substrate 11 and an opposing electrode 14, and a non-luminous part 18 with an inter-layer insulation film 15 formed on the substrate and the lower electrode 12, and a moistureproof layer 16 at the outer surface of the non-luminous part. |
