PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device that can prevent an inflating air bag from coming into contact with a portion around a corner of an opening peripheral edge for projection of a case and that enables an air bag cover to be easily attached to the case.SOLUTION: A case 28 has an approximately box shape with an opening for projection from which an inflating air bag can be projected. An air bag cover 16 includes four side wall portions 21a each projecting from a peripheral edge of a door portion covering the opening for projection and disposed in the vicinity of a peripheral wall portion 32 of the case 28. The peripheral wall portion 32 of the case 28 includes lock wall portions 33, 34 and a connecting wall portion 36L. Mounting wall portions 22, 23 comprising the two opposing side wall portions 21a of the air bag cover 16 are mounted to the lock wall portions 33, 34, respectively by lock claw portions. The other two side wall portions 21a are arranged adjacent to the inner peripheral side of the connecting wall portion 36L so as to cover the inner peripheral side in the vicinity of corners of the peripheral edge of the opening for projection of the peripheral wall portion 32 as cover wall portions 24. |
