PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splitting method and a device capable of splitting and separating simply and precisely an ear part having a narrow width.SOLUTION: A splitting device 1A includes a support device 7 for supporting a glass plate 2 flatly on the upper surface, a pair of splitting heads 5 moved in the X-axis direction and in the Y-axis direction in a flat plane relative to the support device 7 by being NC controlled over the support device 7, a pair of mobile devices 27 for moving each of the pair of splitting heads 5 in the X-axis direction and in the Y-axis direction in the flat plane respectively, a transport device 45 for transporting the glass plate 2, a base 14 and a trestle 28 provided over the base 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
