PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which achieves stable transfer of recording mediums even when using the recording mediums having different specifications.SOLUTION: A printer 10 includes: a recording medium transfer mechanism 30 which transfers recording mediums along a transfer path 32; and a recording head 51 which may reciprocate in a direction intersecting with a transfer direction of the recording mediums. The printer 10 is covered by an exterior case 11. The recording medium transfer mechanism 30 includes: at least a main driving roller 42 extending in a direction crossing the transfer path 32; a driven roller which is pressed by the main driving roller 42 and may rotate; and a support member 44 which supports the driven roller and may rotate in a direction separated from the main driving roller 42. The exterior case 11 includes: a body case 12 forming an outer shell; and an openable cover 13 which covers the support member 44, a part of the transfer path 32, and a moving range of the recording head 51 and is supported so as to open and close relative to the body case 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
