A system and a method for providing advertisement in connection with tags of user-created contents are provided to supply an advertisement, which is highly concerned with the contents, and carry a relevant advertisement about the contents including non-text information. A request receiving unit(204) receives a request for a UCC including non-text from a terminal, and a contents reading unit(206) reads out a correspondent UCC according to the received request. A tag inquiry unit(210) inquires into a tag of the read UCC, and an advertisement searching unit(212) searches an advertisement related to the inquired tag. A transmission unit(208) transmits the read UCC and the searched advertisement to a terminal of a client.
