A washing machine using high oxidization and ultrasonic waves and a method thereof are provided to clean and sterilize objects, such as fruits and vegetables, in a cleaning tub and to remove unbreakable organic chemicals like remaining pesticide. A washing machine using high oxidization and ultrasonic waves comprises at least one ultrasonic ceramic vibrator(50) installed on the lateral, front, rear, or bottom surface of a washing tub having a predetermined receiving space to be connected with a vibrating unit; at least one ultraviolet lamp(60) installed on the lateral, front, rear, or bottom surface of the washing tub; and a duster installed on the bottom of the washing tub to supply oxygen to the water so as to facilitate the high oxidization. The washing tub is coated with titanium dioxide.
