<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety-confirming apparatus for detecting the state of a person on the bed leaving the bed, and furthermore knowing the safety of the person from a distance, using a comparatively simple apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The safety-confirming apparatus is provided with a weighing sensor 13 for detecting the weight exerted on at least one leg 12 of the bed 11; a controller 15 for detecting that a user 14 who gets on or goes out of the bed 11 from the change in measured weight value by the weighing sensor 13 and grasping the state of health for the user 14 from the length of the time the user 14 is away and the number of times the user is away from the bed 11 during sleep with the detected output as an input; and a communication apparatus 18 for notifying third parties 17, 30 through a communication line 16, when an abnormality has occurred in the state of the user 14 decided by the controler 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
