PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control system capable of reducing the cost required for installation work and shortening a construction period required for installation, by reducing the number of power lines. SOLUTION: An AC/DC power source part 21 acquires drive signals on drive lines, rectifies and smoothes the acquired drive signals and outputs smoothed direct current to a power source control part 23. The power source control part 23 charges a battery 22 and supplies DC voltage of the battery 22 to a sensing processing part 24 and a sensing signal sending part 25, to supply electric power for making a vehicle sensor 20 operate. The sensing processing part 24 acquires a detection signal from a far-infrared sensor 40 and outputs it to the sensing signal transmitting part 25. The sensing signal sending part 25 generates a carrier wave of 200 kHz, for instance, generates a tone signal added with frequency modulation of several kHz, based on the signal input from the sensing processing part 24, and outputs the generated tone signal to a traffic signal controller 10 through the drive line 1R.
