PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence device is provided to reduce the penetration of moisture and gas into an organic material by sealing the front of metal electrode of the organic electroluminescence device with an insulating layer. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(2) for positive and negative poles is formed on the rear surface of a translucency substrate(1). An insulating layer(3) is formed on the transparent electrode(2). A sidewall(4) divides a metal electrode formed on the insulating layer(3). An organic luminescence layer(5) of organic materials is formed on a region where the insulating layer(3) is not formed on the transparent electrode(2) and the sidewall(4). A metal electrode(6) for a cathode is formed on the organic luminescence layer(5). A sealing insulation layer(10) is coated on the metal electrode(6) so as to seal the whole rear surface of the translucency substrate(1). |
