PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator or the like, which is effective for ensuring mechanical strength and suppressing chipping, breakage or the like.SOLUTION: An insulator 1 includes a first phase 2 that contains a silica 2b and glass 2a including a siloxane bond, as main constituents, and a second phase 3 containing a crosslinked resin material as main constituents, and has a sea-island structure where the first phase 2 is a sea phase and the second phase 3 is an island phase. The first phase 2 can ensure the mechanical strength of the insulator 1, and the second phase 3 can suppress the advance of microcracks in the insulator 1 and the mechanical destruction of chipping, breakage or the like due to the advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
