PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a device for forming the print data of a terminal block symbol sheet having applicability for easily making various terminal block symbol sheets well.

SOLUTION: The method for forming the print data of a terminal block symbol sheet for making the terminal block symbol sheet being printed on a sheet comprises a step S4-2 for setting the outside dimensions of the terminal block symbol sheet and the number of rows and columns of a terminal block as set information, and steps S4-3 and S4-4 for making a terminal block symbol pasteboard by operating the size of rows and the size of columns based on the set information. Consequently, the size of rows and the size of columns are calculated automatically by setting the overall dimensions of the terminal block symbol pasteboard and the number of rows and columns of the terminal block and the terminal block symbol sheet can be made easily.
