PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key telephone set capable of informing a transfer destination about a transfer-requested extension number as a transfer source telephone number together with the number of a communication (opposite party) destination, in transferring a call using an extension telephone set. SOLUTION: A main device 10 includes a caller number table 30 for recording information about telephone numbers of a communication (opposite party) destination and a transfer (request) source so as to correspond to extension lines. Upon receiving the dial number of the transfer destination and a transfer request from an extension telephone, a call control section 12 changes the number of the extension telephone requesting transfer into a transfer source number, and generates a caller number for transfer together with a communication destination number searched from the table 30 and transmits the generated and searched numbers as predetermined transfer information to an incoming call receiving terminal of the above number. If the dial number belongs to an outside telephone, a transfer source number having an extension number in addition to its own outside number is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
