PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usefulness of a suspension system for a vehicle with a roll restraining device such as a stabilizer device. SOLUTION: At the time of deciding a target rotation angleθof an actuator of a roll restraining device, when lateral acceleration actually generated to a vehicle body, namely an actual lateral G is smaller than a first threshold Gy<SB>1</SB>(S19), the angle is decided on the basis of lateral acceleration depending on an operation angleδof a steering wheel and the vehicle speed v, namely estimated lateral G. When the actual lateral G is larger than a second threshold Gy<SB>2</SB>(S21), the angle is decided on the basis of the actual lateral G (S18). When the actual lateral G is larger than the first threshold Gy<SB>1</SB>and smaller than the second threshold Gy<SB>2</SB>, the angle is decided on the basis of a sum of a value obtained by multiplying the actual lateral G by a coefficientαlinearly increased from 0 to 1, and a value obtained by multiplying the estimated lateral G by a coefficient (1-α) (S22).
