PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge-wise wound coil capable of preventing increase in size of a case for storing the coil.SOLUTION: A coil 10 is edge-wise wound so as to wind on a shaft which is parallel in a vertical direction (Z direction). The coil 10 has a coil body 110 and two coil ends 130. The coil body 110 has a track shape which extends in a width direction (X direction) on a horizontal plane (XY plane). Each of the coil ends 130 protrudes forward (+Y direction) from a front part (+Y side) of the coil body 110 in a front-back direction (Y direction). The outer edges 132 of the coil ends 130 positioned outsides in the width direction are separated from both outer ends of the coil body 110 in the width direction in the width direction and positioned between both ends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
