PURPOSE: A system and method for debugging a computer are to check an error of program contained in computer and to proceed an error correction work. CONSTITUTION: A system for debugging a computer comprises: an error check part(10) which generates and outputs a debugging data to check an error of a program stored in a system and to proceed a debugging work; a control part(40) which separately controls a specific function proceeding data including the debugging data and generates a control signal so that the system proceeds the associated function accordingly; and an input/output part(30) which transmits and receives the debugging data or the specific function proceeding data to the control part(40). Thereby, the debugging work is easily proceeded without the necessity of disassembling the computer or confirming whether the system power is off.
