The electromagnet (1) has a coil winding (50) arranged on a coil body (5) and a tubular pipe (11) provided in the coil body. An anchor (2) is axially and movably guided in the tubular pipe. An air duct (6) is provided between the tubular pipe and the coil body. A one-sided magnet core (4) is enclosed at the pipe and exhibits an air stream channel (40), which stays in connection with the air duct and an anchor area (21). The stream channel is designed as a groove in the magnet core. The air duct is designed as a ventilation channel and/or vent duct. An independent claim is also included for a valve i.e. pneumatic valve.
