PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of detecting a rotation angle while reducing the number of sensor elements.SOLUTION: A motor controller has: a first sensor element and a second sensor element converting a periodic magnetic signal generated by rotation of a motor into a digital signal; and a driver unit controlling the motor on the basis of a first sensor signal outputted by the first sensor element and a second sensor signal outputted by the second sensor element respectively. The first sensor element and the second sensor element are arranged apart in the rotation direction of the motor at 120° degrees of electric angle of the magnetic signal. The driver unit measures time when signal levels of the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal are the same respectively and estimates a rotation angle of the motor on the basis of the measurement time and the respective signal levels of the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
