<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distillation apparatus capable of efficiently distilling Japanese distilled liquor from a fermented mash formed out of a sweet potato, rice, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This distillation apparatus is composed of a horizontal-type cylindrical distillation apparatus main body, a plurality of cylindrical bodies which are arranged inside the distillation apparatus main body along a longitudinal direction thereof, have a plurality of small holes, and rotate, a stirring device which is mounted on the distillation main body and fluctuates and stirs the fermented mash at a predetermined angle on a prescribed cycle, and a heating means which is connected to the plurality of the cylindrical bodies and heats the fermented mash. The heating means conducts heating by using steam. The stirring device is composed of a rotating shaft which perforates through a central part of the horizontal-type cylindrical distillation apparatus main body in an axial direction thereof, a plurality of branch shafts of which the each is joined to a prescribed position of the rotating shaft in the axial direction, and stirring blades of which the each is mounted on the branch shaft, fluctuates by following the rotating shaft in rotation, and stirs the fermented mash. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
