<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of freezing when water does not flow through a water and hot water supply piping of a storage type hot water supplier when it is severely cold. <P>SOLUTION: An normal operation mode and a freeze prevention mode can be set by a remote control 1 with a freeze prevention switch. If outside air temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature, the freeze prevention mode is selected. During the freeze prevention mode, a controller 2 outputs an instruction to a switch valve 7 and controls tap water to flow to a communication pipe 6.
