Presented is a thermal insulator based on cellulolytic residues, which consists in a material made of cellulose pulp added with sodium tetraborate for acquiring fire resistant and anti-fungal characteristics. The insulator has a reinforcing net which may be selected from ixtle fiber, raffia, plastic, fiber glass, etc., which optionally may be attached by a polymeric insulator, preferably polyvinyl acetate. The thermal insulator based on cellulolytic residues is fixed to the construction element by means of mortar with water-resistant characteristics, regardless of its type, which is intended to fix the insulator, this remaining embedded along with the structural element. |
