PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery high in cycle characteristic.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 comprises: a positive electrode 2; a negative electrode 3; and an electrolytic solution. The negative electrode 3 includes a negative electrode active material layer. The electrolytic solution includes fluoroethylene carbonate.
