<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory controller 1000, improved in response speed for controlling a flash memory device 2000. <P>SOLUTION: This memory controller 1000 includes a buffer memory 1500 for storing data to be written in the flash memory device 2000, an interface 1400 of the buffer memory configured to control read and write operations of the buffer memory, and an automatic command processing unit configured to interpret a data instruction operated by a host hardware device. When the data command contains write information, the automatic processing unit of the instruction word determines whether or not the input data has continuity with the data stored in the buffer memory.
