The present invention relates to a dielectric material wherein the dielectric material comprises a polymer according to formula I
wherein R 1 -R 8 are the same or different, each of R 1 -R 8 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a C 1 -C 10 alkyl group and combinations thereof, and wherein m=2-15. Further the invention relates to a dielectric film made of the dielectric material, an energy storage device comprising a dielectric film, a capacitor comprising a metallized dielectric film and a process for preparing a dielectric film.
