Mould for casting fan - enables blade pitch to be varied

The multi-part mould for injection or pressure moulding of fans or propellers, of plastics or metal, comprises at least two main outer parts, defining a boss region of the fan and two long spaces extending radially from the boss and pref. of circular cross-section. In each of these spaces, a two-part mould, defining within it the shape of one fan-blade, can be adjusted angularly, so as to enable the pitch of the blade to be varied relative to the boss.
