Gears on a drive shaft rotate a sub-box containing two rings with conical internal faces which can be moved apart axially by threaded rods, each driving duo-conical rollers on a ring connected to the output shaft. Further gears connect the drive shaft to a central shaft connected via conical faced rings to the conical rollers, also be moved axially by screwed rods. Drive power is thus split and transmitted to the conical rollers via the several different conical contact faces geared, maintaining contact with the rollers.
