PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph easily an effective panning photography, and prevent photographing of blurred photography due to reach of a correction optical system to a correction end.SOLUTION: A movement speed of a main subject on a photographing surface is detected, then a main subject movement speed is calculated based on difference between the movement speed and panning speed, the panning being performed by a photographer. During exposure, difference between the calculated main subject movement speed and the panning speed of panning performed by the photographer, namely, a panning speed error, is detected, and optical eccentricity for correcting the error is performed so that, the photographer can photograph a beautiful panning photography. In addition, with consideration of a correction optical system position during panning, a reference position of the correction optical system, or, a drive amount and a direction of the correction optical system can be determined not so as to reach an end of a correction range. Therefore, possibility of reaching to the end of the correction range becomes extremely low even when performing panning assist, so that, the photography can be prevented from becoming blurred photography.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
