Dyeing of natural fibres in aq. baths - contg. aliphatic halohydrocarbons

Dyeing of synthetic fibres in aq. dye solns. or dispersions contg. alipathic halohydrocarbons (derivs. of methane ethane of ethylene) with only 2 halogen substits. and with b.pt. below 85 degrees C, esp. CH2Cl2. Dyeing of natural fibres, esp. wool, by the above process. The temp. reqd. for dyeing is substantially reduced, with saving of energy, and esp. less felting and hydrolytic breakdown.
