The information transmission method has the information to be transmitted entered at the transmission terminal input (1) as handwritten text or graphic symbols, with identical display of the transmitted information at the reception terminal output (7) via a display device, or alternatively the transmitted information can be displayed after conversion into ASCII characters with the graphic symbols filtered out. An Independent claim for an information transmission device is also included.
