The invention relates to a water inlet embedded in a tainter gate, used to control water inlet, to discharge high waters, silts, floats and ice, in safety conditions, and also to catch water and direct the same by delivery in order to use it for energetic purposes or for the supply with potable water, industrial water, water for irrigations, pisciculture or complex uses. According to the invention, the water inlet comprises, in one equipment, both a tainter gate (1) for controlling the water inlet and a water catching chamber (2), placed at the upper side, which takes over the water through a grate (3) and delivers it laterally by means of the two circular-section windows, sealed on an outline (4), embedded in the construction of a pier (5) connected to some vertical pipes (6) and aligned with some outlet orifices (7) of the catching chamber (2) which also has an actuation mechanism using two hydraulic pistons (8), which allow the tilting by using, as support point, a bearing system (9), thus providing a safe and stable operation in any position, with low risk of clogging, due to the water catching from the surface area with reduced silt charge and to the self-cleaning function which is possible in certain operation positions. |
