The positioning apparatus has a stop system with control plates (16, 16'). The control plates (16, 16') have recesses (18, 18', 24, 24') in which stop bodies can engage. The stop bodies can be lowered by cylinders (32, 32', 34, 34') at right angles to the direction of movement of the control plate into recesses (18, 18', 24, 24') of the same. Upon subsequent movement of this control plate (16, 16') together with the pallet (2), stop positions are obtained at the end of the grooves (18, 18', 24, 24'), by means of which the pallet (2) is positioned step by step. Both an X-Y-movement and a rotation of the pallet (2) between offset end positions can be realised by a suitable configuration of the control plates (16, 16') and timing control of the stop bodies. <IMAGE> |
