Storage is provided below a worktop surface in a unit which has four legs fixing a cupboard in position, overlapping it at top and bottom, and bearing a table or bench panel sat on top. The panel (9) is mounted (11) so as to move in a straight line on the tops of the legs (2). The cupboard section (5-8) has a circular saw (13) detachably mounted on it, with the disc (14) protruding above the panel surface (15) through a slit (12) in the line of movement. A protective hood (16) over this, with opening for it (17), is fastened on the bench, with another, foldable, hood (20) swivelling on it in front of the opening.
