The device is for marking goods, such as textiles, or skins, as an anti-theft measure. The device comprises a housing in which a slide moves, the slide supporting a hook-like fixture extending out of the housing. The one end of the fixture is located outside the housing when the slide is in its one end position, and projects into an aperture in the housing wall when the slide is in its other end position. - In the latter position, the slide is locked and so is the hook fixture. The slide and the housing together limit at least one space in which a lock body of magnetic material is movably fitted. The space and the lock body are so shaped that the lock body, under the effect of gravity, automatically adopts a stop position in the space when movement of the slide from the closed position is prevented. |
