PURPOSE:To read out data at a high speed by limiting the accesses given to an auxiliary memory just to the first one in case the contents of the same file in the auxiliary memory are read out by plural personal computers and thereafter reading data out of the main memory of the personal computer to transfer them. CONSTITUTION:When a personal computer 16 needs the contents of a file in an auxiliary memory 12, for example, a data transfer request is given to a control processor 9 via a packet exchange part 14. Then the processor 9 checks whether said request is equal to the first one or not through a control table 24 and then reads data out of the memory 12 if said request is equal to the first one to transfer it to the computer 16. In case said request is already given from a personal computer 15, for example and the file contents are transferred to the computer 15, the processor 9 gives a data transfer request to the computer 15. Thus the computer 15 transfers the prescribed data stored in its own main memory 19 to the computer 16. |
