PURPOSE:To seal a clearance between a cylinder and a piston with a liquid and thereby prevent air inside the cylinder from leaking, by filling up the liquid of oil or the like in order to keep off an air leakage out of the cylinder, in the inside of a crank chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a crankshaft (a) rotates, each of pistons D and D' reciprocates in the same direction. In this case, since a liquid L of oil or the like is filled up in the space between these pistons D and D', inclusive of the inside of a crank chamber A, a clearance between cylinders B, B' and a piston ring (e) is sealed up. Therefore, air at the side of valve gear parts C and C' being set up at both ends of these cylinders B and B' is in no case leaked toward the side of the crank chamber A. With this constitution, an air leakage out of these cylinders B and B' is preventable so simply and accurately.
