PURPOSE:An antitumor agent having reducing action on tumor, containing 4-[5-chloro-2-oxo-3-benzothiazolynyl)acetyl]-1-piperazine ethanol, etc. as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:An antitumor agent containing a compound shown by the formu la I (R is group shown by the formula II-formula IV) or its salt as an active ingredient. The compound is well-known as a substance having partially anti- inflammatory action, has effects on reduction in number of tumor cells, prolonga tion of life, inhibition of tumor multiplication, etc. in tumor of animal or human, and useful an antitumor agent. The antitumor agent is administered orally or parenterally, and pareneteral administration includes injection, rectum adminis tration, application, etc. A dose is 0.1-1,000mg/kg/day, preferably 1-300kg/kg/ day, and may be administered twice-4 timed daily in case of human. |
