PURPOSE:To enable safe control of an airplane with the determination of difference in the altitude when it approaches, by coding a video depending on altitude information on a responding airplane to display. CONSTITUTION:A P/S control section 105 generates a load signal 19 depending on the presence of an altitude data 16 on take in a coded video 20 into a P/S converter section 107. A display distance signal 17 is inputted and a serial clock 22 with a varying cycle is outputted to the P/S converter section 107 so that the display video range will be constant free from the selection of display distance with a radar display 110. At the P/S converter section 107, the coded video 20 of parallel bits is converted into an altitude display video 23 to be outputted to an OR circuit 109, which ORs a shaped decoded video 18 with an altitude display video 23 and sends a secondary radar video 24 to a radar display unit 110 to be display on a PPI scope. This enables safe control of an airplane with the determination of difference in the altitude when it approaches.
