PURPOSE:To accommodate a fuel system and a cooling system of a fuel injection valve with common fuel oil by branching a discharge port of a fuel feed pump into one connected to a fuel injection pump (high temperature) and the other connected to a fuel injection valve cooling section (low temperature). CONSTITUTION:During running an engine 1, both pumps 4, 6 are driven by an output shaft 2. A portion of fuel discharged from the fuel feed pump 4 is supplied to each fuel injection pump 14 through a fuel viscosity controller 12 under the condition heated at 130-150 deg.C higher than temperature of supplied fuel, then pressurized by the pump 14 and supplied from the corresponding fuel injection valve 16 in a cylinder to a combustion chamber. A portion of fuel pressurized by the pump 4 is supplied to a fuel injection valve 16 cooling section through a line 11 at low temperature equal to that of supplied fuel to cool the fuel injection valve 16. Lubricating oil pressurized by the pump 6 is supplied to an oiling section of the fuel injection pump 14 through a line 22.
