PURPOSE:To prevent a substrate from breakage and sudden movement after removal of obstacles by providing a detecting lever for detecting correctively the slack of a wire between the substrate transferring slider and a drive source to stop the drive source with the movement of the lever. CONSTITUTION:When print substrates 1, 1 are caught and stopped by guide rails 2, 2, a wire 10 is slacked and a detecting lever 14 is pivoted clockwise about a support shaft 20 by the energizing force of a spring 15. Thus, all or a part of slack of the wire 10 can be corrected by the stroke of the pivotal lever 14, while a microswitch 16 as detecting element is operated to set the opening or closing of a switch 16 to a control means connected to the switch 16 so that the control signal added to the signal of said microswitch stops a motor 12 connected to the output side. And the substrates 1, 1 are released from the catch and returned to the normal movement. Thus, the substrate can be prevented from breakage and abrupt movement due to a drive force after returning to the normal movement.
