PURPOSE:To provide a cleaning member which has an excellent low-temp. characteristic and considerably decreases the change of repulsive elasticity by using polyurethane rubber obtd. by brining a polyol obtd. by the copolymn. of a polyoxytetramethylene glycol and polycarprolactone ester into reaction with a polyisocyanate and curing the same. CONSTITUTION:The polyol obtd. by the copolymn. of the polyoxytetramethylene glycol PTMG and polycaprolactone ester PCL to be used is expressed by the formula (I). In the formula (I), X is the residual cleavage group of an epsilon- caprolactone group and m+n is 1-33. R is the combination group of X and is expressed by the formula (II), where alpha=1-40 and X:R is in a 1:9-9:1 range. The polyisocyanate to be brought into reaction with such polyol is exemplified by a tolylene diisocyanate, etc. The curing agent is exemplified by 1,4-butanediol, etc.
