PURPOSE:To make changeover between a short distance large volume transport and a long distance small volume transport by connecting discharge ports of two conveyers with each other via a communicating passage capable of opening/closing one discharge port by means of a shutter and making one of the conveyers capable of rotating freely in either normal or reverse direction. CONSTITUTION:While connecting discharge ports 3 and 4 of two conveyers 1 and 2 with each other via a communication passage 5, the communication passage 5 is provided with a discharge port 7 capable of being opened or closed by a shutter 6. Arranging a transferring body 21 of a coil spring shape for transferring powder in a flexible tube 22, granular body is transferred by driving the transferring body 21 by means of a shaft 12 and a pulley 13 via bevel gears 14, 15 and 18 or 23 and 24. A short distance, large volume transport is performed by tilting a lever 17 in the direction of A in the drawing to engage the bevel gear 14 with the bevel gear 18, to rotate the transferring body 21 in the same direction, and at the same time to open a shutter 6. When the shutter 16 is tilted in the direction of A again and the shutter 6 is closed, the transferring body 21 of the conveyer 1 rotates in the reverse direction to make the conveyers 1 and 2 in series connection and to perform a long distance, small volume transport. With this constitution, the changeover of transport mode is made easy.
