PURPOSE:To obtain smoothing characteristics equal to an aluminum electrolytic capacitor by connecting a non-polar capacitor having high ripple breakdown strength to a pulsating power supply and connecting the series circuit of a choke coil and a polar capacitor in parallel with the non-polar capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A non-polar capacitor 4 having high ripple breakdown strength is connected in parallel with a pulsating power supply 1. The series circuit of a choke coil 5 and a polar capacitor 6 having low ripple resistance is connected in parallel with the non-polar capacitor 4. Load 3 is supplied with outputs from both ends of the polar capacitor 6.
