PURPOSE:To enable unloading of packages having different diameters while alingning the centers, in a package unloader for bobbin winder, by receiving a package onto a frame turnable between two positions and detecting the diameter of the package based on the displacement of a clamp member when the package is clamped by said clamp member. CONSTITUTION:A package P is mounted onto a receiving member 5 of a frame 3 having a sliding member 4 being held at a predetermined height, then a plate 33 and a slide block 32 are lowered by means of a hydraulic cylinder 36 so as to operate clamp members 6, 7 through coupling rods 27, 28. Here, the lowering amount of the side block 32 varies in proportion to the diameter of the package P. Consequently, the lowering amount of the package P when the sliding member 4 is lowered through a chain 13 and a sensor 39 is operated to stop the lowering varies in accordance with the diameter of the package and the central positions are aligned. With such arrangement, packages having different diameters can be unloaded with the centers thereof being aligned.
