PURPOSE:To perform comfortable space heating in response to the load at respective rooms by providing a room fan motor speed control means that regulates the room air supply fan speed synchronously with the compressor speed control command which is derived based on the temperature difference between the set temperature for respective room units and the actual temperature detected by the temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:By computing the temperature difference between the set temperature set by a room temperature setting means such as a thermostat respectively for room units 6a, 7a and the actual temperature detected by room temperature detecting means 16, 17, the resultant output signal is sent to fan motor speed control means for respective rooms. Thereby the speed of the room fan motors 10a, 11a is controlled, and the afore-said temperature difference is supplied to a compressor speed control means as load information in regard to the two rooms to control the speed of an inverter compressor 1a so that the refrigerant circulation from the compressor may be regulated in accordance with the overall load.
