PURPOSE:To attain the ease of telephone call by providing an inter-word pause corresponding to a dial speed of each figure to a voice device and applying voice output in matching with the dial speed so as to avoid wrong dial. CONSTITUTION:In selecting a telephone number call from a keyboard 2, the signal is sent to a central processing unit 3 to display a telephone number stored in a storage device 5 onto a display device 1. When the telephone number to be sought is displayed on the display device 1, the kind of the telephone set is switched by a switch 4. In selecting the voice utterance device from the keyboard 2, the signal is inputted to the central processing unit 3, the signal is sent to the voice synthesizer 7, amplified by an amplifier 8 and the voice of the telephone number to be sought is outputted from a speaker 9. An arithmetic unit 6 calculates an inter-word pause in matching with each number, the inter-word pause is sent from the central processing unit 3 and the inter-word pause is outputted until the dial pulse is sent from the speaker 9.
