PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize a work transfer device and to improve the workability by fixing the handling bar providing a work holding device to the feed bar provided movable in all directions at both sides in the arranging direction of a die. CONSTITUTION:Plural dies 8a-8c are arranged before and behind, the work W carrier in from a feeding station 6 is transferred intermittently and after pressing it in order, it is wiped off via a sweeping conveyor 7. In the transfer press machine 1 of said composition, feed bars 12, 12 are arranged vertically movably and before and behind in the transfer direction of the work W at both sides in the arranging direction of the die 8. A handling bar 13 is fixed removably at its both ends to this feed bar 12 to fit the work holding device 14 of a vacuum cup, etc., performing the holding and separating of the work W thereto. The handling bar 13 is arranged so as to stand by between dies 8 and between the die 8 and work feeding station 6 and work sweeping device 7 at the press working time.
