PURPOSE:To obtain a blanket for printing improved in compression permanent strain and free from directional properties, by using baked salt with fixed shape and particle diameter as a powder which is eluted. CONSTITUTION:Baked salt which is eluted in an eluting solution is added to a rubber composition of an oil-resistant polymer. As a polymer used for the rubber composition of the oil-resistant polymer, a polyvinyl chloride, a chloroprene rubber, or the like is used. The baked salt 1 to be added to the polymer composition is produced by heating a salt containing NaCl 95% or more and crushed to be 20-100mum baked salt powders 4 of hexagonal system. The baked salt is added 30-200 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the polymer composition. On a base fabric, the polymer composition containing baked salt is laminated by the amount of 100-1000 g/m<2>. Next, the obtained laminated body is arbitrarily vulcanized, thereafter being dipped in the eluting solution. It is preferable that the temperature of the eluting solution ranges from a room temperature to 100 deg.C and the dipping time ranges from 3 minutes to 6 hours. In this manner, a compression permanent strain in a compressed layer can be improved.
