PURPOSE:To make a main body compact and to grasp the changing trend of a bodily temperature in a broad range on a graph, by providing a large memory/display device, which has large-capacity memories and can display the graph, separately from the main body of a clinical thermometer. CONSTITUTION:A large data memory/display device 2, which can store bodily temperature data and can display a graph, is separately provided from a main body 1 of a clinical thermometer. The main body 1 displays the measured bodily temperature. At the same time, the change in bodily temperature in a short period is displayed on data stored in a memory circuit 16 through a key input circuit 15. The data are transferred into the device 2 with a data transfer means 17. The transferred data are stored into a memory circuit 22. The bodily temperature data for a long period are displayed on a graph with a data processing circuit 23. Therefore, the main body 1 can be made compact, and the expansion of a screen is realized. The changing trend of the bodily temperature can be positively grasped on the graph.
