PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the space heater by providing a remote control power supply switch in a power supply line and interlocking the remote control power supply switch with a remote control changeover switch so that the remote control power supply switch is turned on only when the remote control changeover switch is changed over to the remote control side. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply switch 1 is turned on, a space heating control part 3 begins to operate through a photointerrupter 2. When a temperature set button 8 or 9 is manually operated, it is possible to change the set temperature. However, even when a remote controller 5 is operated, a remote control power supply switch 7 is turned off. Therefore, the remote control receiving part 4 does not act, and transistors 8a and 9a do not operate. That is, the remote control operation cannot be performed. On the other hand, if a remote control changeover switch 6 is changed over to the remote control side (ON side), the remote control power supply switch 7 is turned on in linkage therewith. Hence, the remote control operation becomes possible in a similar manner as heretofore. |
